Spiced Sugar Nuts

In a saucepan mix together:

cup sugar |
| 1 |
teaspoon vanilla |
| 4 |
tablespoons water |
| 1 |
teaspoon cinnamon |
| 1/4 |
teaspoon cloves |
| 1/4 |
teaspoon nutmeg |
| 1/4 |
teaspoon allspice |
Bring to a boil. Boil 5 minutes.
Add to mixture:

until thoroughly coated. Spread on a greased cookie sheet. Separate
nuts and cool. Store in an airtight container. These are wonderful
tossed into a green or fruit salad with a raspberry dressing.
