Roasted Garlic Nuts

In a large baking pan melt:
2 1/2 tablespoons of unsalted butter

Add:
2 teaspoons garlic, finely minced or powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
 
Toss with the following until well combined:
2 cups of almonds, walnuts, pecans or cashews

Spread out into one layer. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Makes 2 cups.

Variations to this recipe; substitute rosemary, curry powder, chili powder, Italian seasoning, or five spice for the garlic. Or you can create a blend of herbs for the garlic.
