Maple Dumplings
This recipe
comes from Lynette Ely in honor of hers parents, Hubert
and Evelyn Friedline. Some of her earliest memories
include carrying supper to her father, through melting snow
patches, to a sugar camp about a quarter mile from their
Somerset County home. Her recollection of this dish
cooked on a wood and coal fired kitchen stove, makes the
country dish taste even better
