Cranberry Coffee Cake
- In
a mixing bowl cream:

- Gradually
add and cream well:

- Add
and mix well:

eggs |

teaspoon almond extract or vanilla |

- Stir
together in a separate bowl:

cups flour |
| 1 |
teaspoon baking powder |
| 1/2 |
teaspoon salt |
- Stir
in:

- Pour
1/2 of the batter into a greased 10 inch tube pan, than on top
of this batter place a layer of:

can cranberry sauce (strained or whole) |

- Cover this layer with the other half of the batter.
- Sprinkle the top of the batter with the following
mixture.
In a small bowl mix together:

cup toasted chopped nuts |
| 2 |
teaspoons sugar |
| 1 1/2 |
teaspoon cinnamon |
Bake 1 hour at 350°.
Cool 10 minutes. Invert pan to cool completely.
